The Libertarian Party of Ohio (LPO) Political Division 

Focused on statewide candidates and issues, but will support local candidates if no county party exists. Will also be involved with supporting LP Presidential nominees. Ballot access for the LP in Ohio is also a priority. To contact the Political Division leadership, please email us at candidates@LPO.org.

Candidates Committee

This committee works to identify, field, and train candidates to successfully run for federal, state, and local office in Ohio. Will also work directly with the Field Development group to identify qualified candidates and local leadership. Candidate training will also be periodically provided by the Candidates Committee to qualified candidates.

Strategic Targeting Committee

This committee analyzes races for party support and assists with candidate and opposition research. Also evaluates election results.

Issue Review Committee

This committee is focused on helping candidates craft their campaign message on specific issues, reviewing and offering opinions on statewide ballot initiatives, and are also available for consultation with affiliates on local issues.

Legislative Relations Committee

This committee is focused on legislative relations to work for ballot access and populist issues via lobbying efforts at the General Assembly.
