The Libertarian Party of Ohio is moving forward with a new membership plan.

Already a member of the national LP?  That's great, but now we have our own membership plan% just for Ohio!

Effective July 07, 2007 membership in the Libertarian Party of Ohio is now free! We have established contribution levels to allow you, our valued members, to contribute to the cause of Liberty in Ohio.

To become a member of the Libertarian Party of Ohio, please send an email and fill out the requested information and sign our non-violence-initiation pledge.

Please support the Libertarian Party of Ohio with a generous contribution. We need contributions to obtain ballot access, support candidates, win elections, and move Ohio policies in a Libertarian direction

The Libertarian Party of Ohio is required by state and federal law to report certain information regarding all contributions. This includes the occupation and employer (or business name if self employed) for any individual who contributes $100 or more per year. If your contribution will exceed this threshold, please email this information along with your name, street address, and zipcode to treasurer@lpo.org. Corporate contributions are not currently permitted by law and will be refunded. Contributions are not tax deductible.

* Free/discounted LPO Convention is non-transferable. Lodging not included. Gold & Platinum monthly contribution levels must continue for the specified period to receive lifetime discounts. Discounted rate will be available during this period.

%Please note that in the past, National membership included voting rights at the National and State conventions.  The Libertarian National Committee voted to end this agreement with the states at its August 5-7, 2005 meeting.  The end of Unified Membership between National and the states took affect October 1, 2005. By donating $25.00 or more a year to the national LP, you will maintain a monthly subscription to the national LP news.

Any one-time contribution to the LPO that is $20 or more will receive a one-year subscription to The Buckeye Libertarian, the monthly newsletter of the Libertarian Party of Ohio. All monthly contributors will receive a copy of the Buckeye Libertarian.
